No. Students, parents, teachers, and tutors can use the AI companions independently — no school account required. Schools that sign up unlock the team-erp + analytics for their institution.
English and Hindi are live across all companions. Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, and Odia are rolling out — switch via the language toggle (top-right).
In India — AWS Mumbai region. No data leaves India. Eddy interactions are private to the student; parents see weekly aggregate digests, never individual transcripts. DPDPA-compliant by default.
