Eduz is operated by Eduz Learning Technologies Private Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, with registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

• Account: name, email, phone, role, school/institute.
• Learning: chapters, time, mock scores, Eddy interactions (aggregated for parents).
• Technical: device type, OS, IP (security), crash logs.

• Provide service (personalise, track progress, generate reports).
• Improve platform (aggregated analytics, anonymised).
• Service notifications.
• Safety + compliance.

Eduz does not use data for advertising or sell to third parties.

AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1). Backups in Mumbai. No transfer outside India.

• Active accounts: as long as account is active.
• Cancelled: exportable for 90 days, then deleted.
• Aggregated analytics: retained anonymised.

Access, correction, deletion, withdraw consent. Email privacy@eduz.ai — we respond within 7 business days.

For users under 18: parental consent before account creation, no targeted advertising, stricter retention. School-managed student accounts governed by the school's institutional agreement.

Conversations between students and Eddy are private to the student. Parents see weekly aggregate summaries — not individual messages. Teachers see anonymised class patterns. Eddy interactions are never used to train external AI models.

If your data is affected by a breach, we notify you and relevant authorities within 72 hours of detection. Written incident response plan + annual external security audit.
